21 Day Physical Journey – Week 2, Day 8-14

Purpose of this Journey:

As we enter week 2, we must stay motivated and we must start transitioning into a lifestyle change. Release our old habits and our old way of thinking and change to a lifestyle of healthy thinking, healthy eating and positive energy. Take things up a level as you go through week two. WEEK 2 DAY 1 

I Corinthians 15:33 – Evil company corrupts good habits.

Explanation:  If you are spending time with people who have no clear direction in life or who regularly make bad decisions, you will head down the same road.  Even if you know better.


Daily Aspiration: I speak to myself with positive affirmations.

Workout Goal: At Least 6,000 steps


WEEK 2 DAY 2 

Psalms 51:10 – “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

Explanation:  Just existing in this sinful world can bring distance between us and God.  We must remember to ask God to clean our hearts and give us back correct thinking so that we can correctly serve him.

Daily Aspiration: I control how my body responds.

Workout Goal: At Least 6,000 steps & wall 10 push-ups


WEEK 2 DAY 3

Psalms 51:17 AMP – “My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.”

Explanation:  Giving is very important to God, but not more important than having a broken spirit in repentance for our sins.  After that our giving will be more glorious.


Daily Aspiration: I listen to my body and adhere to the messages it sends me.


Workout Goal: At Least 7,000 steps 


WEEK 2 DAY 4

2 Corinthians 10:4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Explanation: Our fight is not with people, but with the enemy. GOD has given us the weapons to win, but they are not physical.  


Daily Aspiration: My sleep is relaxed and refreshing.


Workout Goal: At Least 7,000 steps and 15 push-ups


WEEK 2 DAY 5

Romans 12:2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 

Explanation: God’s will is for us to walk out our lives by living in faith. We can only do this by denying what we think is right and following the way that God has designed in his word.


Daily Aspiration: I create wellness and peace in my body.


Workout Goal: At Least 8,000 steps

Daily Totals: 1,211 calories, 61 g protein, 113 g carbohydrates, 29 g fiber, 62 g fat, 1,471 mg sodium.


WEEK 2 DAY 6

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Explanation: Jesus showed us the way to live while he walked on this earth and he continues directing our lives by the power of the Holy Ghost that lives in us.


Daily Aspiration: My mind and body are in perfect balance.


Workout Goal: At Least 8,000 steps & 20 wall push ups


WEEK 2 DAY 7

2 Timothy 1:7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 

Explanation:  Since God has not given us the spirit of fear than it comes from the enemy. It can be overcome by the power of the Holy Ghost, the perfect love of God casting it out and a peaceful mind promised to us who keep our minds on Him.


Daily Aspiration:  I support my wellness with meditation, visualization and positive uplifting perspectives.
