Day 14: Life Beyond Paralysis

DAY 14 |

John 10:10 (NKJV)

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

An abundant, full life is God’s idea for you to have. We can be paralyzed by what life can bring. The paralysis of anger, hurt, numbness to what happened, unforgiveness and questions of why slowly kills the light and joys we are able to have in life.

God does not cause the destructive things we experience. He will take all of your experiences and work it out for your good IF YOU LET HIM. God can take your hand and move you from the circumstances called life to abundant life, in the midst of an imperfect reality. Trust that God is big enough to move you beyond paralysis. Take God’s hand by exposing yourself to the renewing word of God. Be willing to continue to move forward. Trust Him even when you do not understand why or know next. Your Heavenly Father has a lot of experience in doing this. There is Life beyond Paralysis, get up and walk.

CHALLENGE, PRAYER OR FAST | When you first wake up in the morning, choose to have a conversation with God in your prayers. Let your prayers be full of confessing your thoughts and listening for revelation, and receiving guidance from God. Sometimes you may not hear anything but be comforted. Let this morning pause become a relationship builder so you can learn God, learn His voice and be led daily.
