DAY 9 |
Luke 12:32 (NKJV)
“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
The words ‘Change’ and ‘new’ can be scary. We like comfort but we mustn’t let our innate need to have familiarity close our hand to what God has for us. Fear can come as a mask of control and busyness. Fear can leak out in our need to figure out the steps and outcomes. Fear can exhaust our minds and emotions, therefore stealing from our ability to enjoy the benefits of the kingdom. Fear can also clothe itself as comfort, intimidating us from larger promises.
The key is to recognize the clutches of fear that keeps us out of the pleasure of the kingdom. Decide you will not sweat over the intimidation of fear even when the feeling comes. Replace fear with faith in your Father and His abilities.
CHALLENGE, PRAYER OR FAST |
Repeat this saying when you fear. “I will Doubt my Doubts and feed my faith” Let this act as a reminder of what begins to conquer fear.
