Day 8: Surrender

DAY 8 |

Romans 8:18 (NKJV)

From Suffering to Glory

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Joyce Meyer once said, “When we surrender our ways and what we had in mind, it hurts.” Surrendering hurts. Forgiving hurts. Letting go of what happen hurts. Choosing to love again hurts. Want to see the vision come alive hurts. Process hurts.

Pastor Anthony Murray stated, “we must be strengthened in our pain tolerance to be able to receive the higher levels of benefits from God. Higher levels require sacrifice from us.” No pain, no gain. There are amazing things God has planned for you. Do not stop at the hurt of surrender. Breakthrough to the greater which is birthed out of the pain. Benefits, like joy, peace, and improved life, are the afterbirth of surrender. This is a promise.

CHALLENGE, PRAYER OR FAST | Pray this simple prayer, “Lord I surrender to you. I may not want to and it hurts to do so, but I give you all of me. The unknown is beyond me. What I have suffered to get to this place plagues at times. I need you. Help me. Use me for your glory. I know the tears I have cried will be transformed into tears of joy living in your Will.

I am yours. I declare this day and every day that I have victory in you. Lead and restore me. Thank you in advance. In Jesus Name, Amen.”
